It’s been some time since I’ve posted any pictures to the weblog. I’m afraid that is just because I’ve been snowed beneath each with my research and with our forthcoming home transfer. This image was taken from Hungerford Footbridge in central London and whereas I’ve taken many photos from that bridge and posted them to the weblog prior to now, this one was poignant for a few causes.
It’s additionally been some time since I used to be final in London at night time and did this very stroll. (September to be exact, after I took this picture trying instantly East up the River Thames from the identical spot). After 20-odd years of dwelling in London, my partner-in-many-a-crime was catching a practice to South Yorkshire the place he grew up. He has purchased a home up there and is planning a brand new life nearer to his household. Granted, it’s not Australia and I do know we’ll be in common contact, however he’s going to be missed.
